⛸️ Welcome to Junior Club Membership Registration!
We are so excited to welcome you to the Junior Club Membership at the Red Wing Figure Skating Club! This program is designed for our developing skaters who are building strong fundamentals and progressing through the early ISI levels in a fun, supportive group environment.
⭐ What is Junior Club Membership?
Junior Club Membership is available for skaters in ISI levels Pre-Alpha through Freestyle 1 and includes:
- Group lessons with skaters of similar age and skill level
- Instruction led by our professional coaching staff in a structured, encouraging setting
- A focus on skill development, confidence building, and strong skating foundations
- A fun and social learning environment on the ice
🎯 Important ISI Registration Requirement
All Junior Club skaters are required to have an active ISI membership prior to the start of the season.
If your skater is not yet registered with ISI, they will not be able to participate in Club activities until registration is complete. Please note that families are still responsible for the full registration fee and pre-paid coaching fees, even if participation is delayed due to incomplete ISI registration.
At the end of the registration process, you will be asked to enter your skater’s ISI Registration Number.
If you do not have it yet, simply enter “N/A” and update it once it becomes available.

- Independent forward stoking
- Snowplow Stop
- One foot glide on either foot held he height of the skater

SEASON KICKOFF - OCTOBER 11TH
All Club members are expected to be present for this important & EXCITING season-opening event.
Our Season Kickoff will include a special skater clinic with guest coaches, along with a Parent Information Meeting to help everyone start the season informed, prepared, and excited.
During the kickoff, we will cover:
- Season Overview – What to expect throughout the October–March session
- Session Schedule & Important Dates – Key dates, events, testing, competitions, and activities
- Ice Etiquette – Guidelines for creating a safe, respectful, and positive environment on the ice
- Skater Code of Conduct – Expectations for sportsmanship, behavior, teamwork, and respect
- Parent Information – Important information and tips to help support your skater throughout the season
- Season Goals & Opportunities – Ways for skaters to learn, grow, and get involved
The 2026–2027 skating season:
- October 11th - March
- End of the Season Banquet - Date TBD

Registration Costs
Junior Club Membership fee:
- Early Bird is $380, if registered by 9/20/2026.
- Regular Pricing is $400 - installment payment option is available.
- Registration available throughout the season.
- A Late fee will be imposed if more than 15 days late, in the amount of $10.00
Extra Costs
Additional costs beyond registration include:
- Coaching Fees (additional sessions)
- Spring Show Registration + Add-ons
- Spring Show Costumes
- Optional Club Apparel
GROUP LESSONS
Lessons are scheduled on Sunday's, ranging from 2:15pm-4:00pm
- This year, Skater schedules will not change from week to week
PRIVATE LESSONS
Jr. Club skaters may request private lessons based on coach availability. While we will do our best to accommodate requests, private lessons may not be available every week.
Private lesson fees are paid directly to the coach.
Coaches set their own private lesson rates, so fees may vary by coach.
Please indicate on your registration if you are interested in private instruction for your
skater.
We will contact you when a coach is available to schedule a lesson.
VOLUNTEER REQUIREMENTS AND OPPORTUNITIES
The RWFSC is a 501C3 nonprofit organization that is ran by volunteers and relies on donations and sponsorships for continued success. Our members are expected to volunteer and participate in fundraising events.

RISING STARS SHOWCASE
February 28, 2027 - 2:30-4:00pm
A fun opportunity for skaters to show off their skills, build confidence, and enjoy a little
friendly competition on the ice!
Competition Guidelines
- Open to all Junior Club Members
- No additional cost to participate
- Skaters will need to confirm by December 6 if they are participating
- Skaters will be grouped by age and skating ability
- Skaters may choose to perform with or without music. Music will be provided
- Skaters will prepare for the competition during Sunday lessons beginning January 2027
- Competition attire is the responsibility of the parent/guardian.
- Awards for 1st through 5th place.
- Winners will have the opportunity to skate a special group number in the 2027 Spring Show
Spring Show Information
The Spring Show structure includes:
- Spring Show Time: March 7, 2027 (Sunday will have 2 show times)
- Registration due by December 7 (optional to all club skaters) - registration will be available at a later date
- Professional photos taken in February on a scheduled date. All skaters will be required to attend
- Show practice - Required attendance is expected at all additional practices scheduled. Dates and times will be available with Show Registration. Saturday, March 6th is dress rehearsal, times TBD
